Week One

Just finished my 1st week of work as an RN--I am tired. Worked two twelves and two eights and am a bit overwhelmed. Had two days in the newborn nursery and two class days. All in all it has been a fun week...

Had a funny charting moment--fellow nurse charted "shirt on infant arms an legs" but managed to leave out the "r" in shirt! We all thought she meant the baby pooped all over herself and the nurse was asked about her choice of language in the chart. Came to find out she had put nursery shirts on both set of extremities for extra warmth and had just made a mistake in her charting. Cracked me up!
