i want to kick my instructors right now. jerks.
what are they thinking? is it humanly possible to accomplish all they have set before me? they added the Sim-man this year and along w/ him THREE additional clinical days with med cards and questions--MILLIONS of HARD questions-to answer. I have 30 med cards and 36 questions to answer for my 1st day w/ this plastic piece of crap. it's in three weeks. um, meanwhile, i have a MASSIVE group project that needs to be presented in 4 wks (it is an hour long), competency check off, assessment check off (tomorrow), 2 community clinicals w/ all that paperwork, and all my theory reading as well as my 1st exam in 4 weeks. the 1st month of school is killing me already.
my neck is out this morning. been getting up at 0530 to work on stuff. i will be working ALL day while my family goes to church then out to hit golf balls. i feel like quitting already.
you guys! what am i doing??????????????????? can i change my mind??????????????????????????????

Ummm, you will not change your mind. . . We will get through this!! Though you may have to remind me of this after tomorrow!! Hang in there!!
I know how you feel. What looks (on my official school schedule) like 3 mornings of lecture a week plus one clinical day has morphed into all day every day plus some Saturdays and evenings. And of course, more information than I can absorb in my "free" time.
You won't quit, though, and neither will I. We are going to be nurses and we are going to be good ones, darn it!
