Dunces unite...

My nursing school just changed their standards and under their new admission requirements, I would NEVER have gotten in because I would have been deemed "unlikely to finish the program or likely to fail out of the program." It's all based on points and GPA's and prior medical experience and the TEAS score one gets. Ha.

Thank God I got in when I did. Stupid. They are going to miss out on some darn good "future" nurses who may look stupid on paper cuz they screwed around in their youth but who REALLY want to make something of themselves now...I thought community colleges were for those of us who need a second chance to get our nontraditional crap together?
