...and not much else going on in blogland for me--have a couple long blog posts in the works but otherwise am packing for the move, getting ready for my Sunday trip, and trying to keep my kids entertained. They are "bored" as usual. Typical summer stuff.
Found out more about my teensy-weensy apartment today and am nervous about being able to sleep days when I work nights (which is inevitable--no day jobs out there). Apparently not only is it small, un-airconditioned and dark as night--it is also loud w/ paper thin walls. What are we getting ourselves into?
Bought a lighter weight suit for my interviews, getting my resume all printed out and pretty, trying to collect all my certification cards into one place...then I have these upcoming childbirth classes & workshops (one of which is all day tomorrow) for my CBE certification, Must organize, write notes and put together some activities for those. One of the workshops involves my teaching anatomy and physiology of labor to a bunch o' doulas and such. Um, ok. Hope they expect a major gap in their education!

Paper thin walls? Hmmmm, I had a friend who wears not only earplugs but also those ear protection "headphones" that people wear at gun ranges whenever she visits her in-laws. Apparently FIL's snoring could wake the dead.
