I am frantically working on graduation projects.
I've ordered and designed the pins, am doing all the music, the slideshow and a powerpoint that goes up during the actual pinning. I am also speaking. But the student council I am on has some major organization problems--I have just been picking up jobs here and there and am getting overwhelmed. Couple that with the fact that no one ever says thanks (to each other or to me) and I feel crappy about the whole thing.
Just had another cheating drama occur. We have a know-it-all in our class (every class has one) who has been getting high marks and brags she never studies. She also finishes exams in literally 10 minutes and makes a big show of being the 1st one done and out the door.
Anyway, her best friend went through the program last year so this girl was accussed of getting test questions and notes from previous semesters and using them.
I helped diffuse the problem within the class before it got to the instructors because at this point God only know what they would do to us all as we ALL have notes from previous semesters we are using to adjunct our own studying (and yes, some sets of notes have test question hints in small amounts sprinkled through them). I dont rely on anyone elses work and have steared clear of using this info. The point is, why arent the instructors changing the exams? Having notes isnt an issue but it could become a big one if the faculty thought the whole class was "cheating."
Our class rep wanted to turn this person in (more out of spite because we really cant prove anything) and hand in all her own notes as some kind of proof (even though these notes only have about 20 test hints within them from start to finish). Managed to talk some sense into her and told her we could all go down with this one. 12 days from grad, too! Ugh.
I am just really tired of everyone. It will be so nice to have a new set of problems and people to deal with in my new job! :)
Speaking of which, I shadow for my job on the 29th and will get to see a couple friends from my old class! They work on the L&D floor so that will be fun. I am getting nervous about the whole thing--but know it will work out and be a good thing. I hope.
Ok, loads of studying to do today and still have a couple Christmas projects to get out of the way. Ugh!

Yikes! I started nursing school as one of the class officers and quickly resigned r/t some of the same issues. I couldn't handle all the issues and drama! Hang in there! Hopefully it will all settle down and someone will say thank you before it all ends. (((((HUGS)))))
We don't have a student nurse organization, so none of this drama. We also pass around old study guides, but no test hints on them, so no problem. Your instructors sound like a bunch of hard ass bitches.
