Tomorrow at 10AM I face the dreaded pediatric final. It is computerized and will have 120 fun-filled questions. We were given a study guide that goes a little like this:
"10 questions on cardiac...8 questions on ambulatory peds...11 questions on respiratory...10 questions on GU..." etc, etc. Yeah, so "know EVERYTHING" is what they should have just said and left it at that. Knowing everything about pediatric cardiology is a joke--of course, we didn't learn everything, but what we did learn seems insurmountable and I am having a hard time recalling most of it. *panic time*
We did lose some people on Friday to the med/surg exam. No one knows how many, just that there is a "list" put together, according to the faculty. They will be behind us a semester and that will be strange.
I am off today to study group and then back here to study on my own. These exams do make me question myself and the hell I am going through, but after tomorrow, I will probably be very proud of myself if I manage to make it through...

Nursing school is the same all over. My health assessment review sheet was like that: it literally said at the bottom, "Basically just know everything." Very helpful!
