Ok, since I got tagged, here we go:
1. I am an avid crafter--scrapbooking, crocheting and knitting are the main things I pick up when I have time, but I also have made jewelry, soaps, etc. There is nothing better than finishing a project form start to finish in a week! (Secretly, I wish I could sew, but I don't have room for anymore craft junk.)
2. If I could, I would take a cooking class. Cooking is sort of my secret passion, but I am either too lazy or too busy to do much of it. I am a GREAT cook, tho'. tehe. But I don't have much in my bag of tricks.
3. Reality TV is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine...much to the chagrin of my husband. I limit myslef to one reality show at a time--like right now it is The Bachelor. *blush* Shhhh, don't tell anyone.4. If I'm not watching the stupid Bachelor, I watch cooking shows. My favorite are Barefoot Contessa, Nigella Bites, The Naked Chef and sometimes Everyday Italian (but my husband has told me Giada has a big head and tiny arms so many times that now I have trouble watching her).
5. My original degree work was a bachelors in Psychology with a minor in English. I got 70 credits into that and got married and had a couple kids. Psych never really appealed to me after that? (And I know you remember how much I hated my Psyche rotation)
6. I got into nursing after being a doula to a few friends. Falling in love with obstetrics was my downfall, I suppose.
7. I have generalized anxiety disorder--that is well under control without medications, but when it reared it's angry head about 5 years ago, it almost did me in! Now I kind of look at is as more of a spiritual issue...
8. Which leads me to #8--not so obscure, but I am a Christian. :)
There ya go!

#4 Tell him she also has a really big mouth and lots of teeth. Her teeth freak me out.
#7&8...Me Too...
I, on the other hand, rely on the power of pharmacueticals. Zoloft to be exact. I tried to go it alone and did ok but I just could stand the dread and fear that loomed over me all the time.
I would avoid doing things for fear of what might happen..
I guess we all do what is best for us.
How fun reading all of the new things about my blogger friends. Since my lazy attitude has hit, even blogging has been affected, so congrats on your senior year even if I am way behind!
Thanks for playing. Enjoy your downtime! I have GAD too, ever since my stepfather died in my arms. Lexapro helps but no always.
