Just had a date with my two kids and it was fun. We went out for Mexican and then a children's book store.
Remember the test I was freaking out about last week? Well, I corrected my error on my ID number and it was graded today. I got 60/65--an A! :) We'll see how long I can hold on to an A in there--I have a 94 right now which is pretty good for me as I always sit right at 92 and then blow it. I have a 91.37 in peds right now...Don't think I can eek that one up unless I pull some high marks on the next exam. Next week I have two tests--one on congenital heart defects in the peds patient and the other on ABG's, COPD, plueral effusion, asthma, etc. in the adult patient. Gotta crack the books.
I have two more tests in each class and then finals. Plus I have to make it through 4 weeks of clinical. Summer will be here soon, kids.

Good for you, all around. Mommy/kid dates are the best.
The same thing happened to me one semester, sort of. On the test, there was one question IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TEST we were to leave blank on the scantron (dosage calc, but could we leave it till the end?). And then we were supposed to continue on. Well, I filled mine in and all the following answers were in the wrong space.
Imagine my surprise when I got an "F." I went to my teacher and said something is wrong. I don't get F's, and I don't get D's, and C's are pretty rare, too. (Sounds pretty cocky, but it's the truth.) She looked at me very doubtfully. We reviewed my test, and discovered what had happened. I ended up with a B, which was fine by me.
Funny thing is, I don't brag about grades to my friends. They worked their butts off, and would get c's. And I can't fault them for that. However, when I got that F, I was showing everybody. Look, I got an F. Isn't that the funniest thing ever, me with an F.
Go figure. Sorry to take up all your comment space. :o)
W. :)
